Don't bother with pre-soaks or oxy-whatever. I had 3 boys and a Hubs who sweat their way through everything. Break out a can of Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner. Thoroughly spray the pit/stain area inside and outside, then let it sit until the bubble subside in a minute or two. Make sure the area is completely saturated. Wash and VOILA... this stuff works miracles!!!! It takes out coffee stains, mustard, dried blood, ink stains, grass stains, ring around the collar and even the worst stains you can throw at it. I did have to saturate a few times for the worst of it like ink, but you can see the stains starting to dissolve right away. Use a good detergent and I am sure you'll be pleased with the results. Best of luck to you!

You can use Baking Soda:
Baking soda is very good for removing odors too. If the stain is really smelly, let the baking soda paste remain on the garment for an extra hour or more.
launder as usual.
I use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and Dawn dish washing liquid. I have a small nail brush to work it into the area. My husband's dress shirts were looking terrible from the deodorant. I had to do this a few times to get the stains out because of the build up. I now just treat the area the first time , launder and they are gone. (If you are taking old stains, make sure you treat, soak for a few hours, launder, let air dry, check for results. It did not take the color out of his clothes. Good luck.
Absolutely safe. It does not have any bleach in it.
Yes, it works on all colors and fabrics.
we are talking about lots of build up I was afraid it would crack if I bend it, LOL it's like caked on, it has never washed out, I have tried several things but I will get some scrubbing bubbles and try it. Thanks to everyone I do so appreciate it. I'll let ou know how it works, next laundry day.
