Terra Cotta Pot Fountain
INSTRUCTIONS: You can see from the picture what kind of pots I used. The large basin on the bottom is plastic. You can also use a very large terra cotta saucer, but it doesn't hold much water and you have to keep refilling. I know because I tried it.
You can use any size pots you want. I like the strawberry pot because the water comes out of the holes.

There is nothing more theraputic than planting a beautiful flower bed and watching it grow. It gives me so much pleasure and pride.
Perennial, maintenance free flower bed.
Accenting mailboxes is a big thing in my area but with a strong western exjposure, I had trouble with flowers in our drought ridden summers. I decided to try a group of grasses and non flowering plants....dusty miller, varigated liriope and darker grass (can't remember its name). Keep the dusty miller trimmed back and then trim down the others before they have spring regrowth. I accented with a few gerber daisies for color.
