We Have a new Lavender Araucana Chick
We have very broody Silkie Hens so sometimes I put that to good use. They have been wonderful surrogate mothers to French Marans, Rhode Island Reds and Americaunas..They make the work easier for me and keep the chicks warm so I don't have to use a brooder....

New life for an old Filing Cabinet
My son bought me this old filing cabinet at the Goodwill and I decided to lay some paint on it and make it happy. I'm not a great artist so the flowers differ from each other but I really enjoyed doing it and plan on making more. :)

I was walking through our local Home Depot the other day with a client looking at some tile.
We found three tiles there that were very unique and had a nice natural sandstone type texture and appearance with "micro sparkles".
The orange vest said it was not a tile they stocked and gave us the three 18" tiles as they may have been some returns. I later did some online research and found the manufactures site.
The tile is from a Spanish company called Zirconio...and the tile "line" is the Delhi. It is available ...»

DIY Painting Chalkboard Wood Slice
I found this at a Goodwill Store and I didnt want to paint over Jesus so I sand the other side and now have a wood slice with two uses. Thank you Jesus :)
