Front Porch Fall Decor

Now that we have two new beautiful Limelight Hydrangea wreaths , I thought it was time to start adding some front porch fall decor. This year I wanted to keep a neutral palette using natural elements to complement with the wreaths.
There is one bare spot where I had planted a begonia that never thrived. So I placed a white pumpkin in its place. This pumpkin was part of a set of three faux pumpkins, that were originally bright orange, but I wanted to bring more light into the space, so I spray painted them white. Of course, then they were too white, so I used some watered down brown craft paint and painted in the creases, around the stem and wiped them with a damp cloth until I got the look I wanted.
This black urn had some sad-looking annuals that were on their last legs, so I pulled them out and left the soil, to use as a base, to insert other plant material.
Some sprigs of dogwood berries and dried sedum flowers dress up the basket.
These decorations should last through Thanksgiving, and they cost me nothing but my time to create. I hope you enjoyed my Fall Front Porch, and maybe it inspires you to see what you can create, with items you already have at hand. To see more of my decorating projects click HERE
