Need electrical plug source

I have a small antique table I just got , want to place in next to love seat away from wall. Is there a battery source for 120 volt light that can be set couch to plug light into? Any other ideas appreciated. Cord can not be visual. TKS

batteries aaa,aa,c,d are1.5 volts...so 100 are needed...thats why ac is the ele of choice for lamps. get over the cord" 120 volt light that can be set couch to plug light into?"

Have you thought of using leds as lighting source some can work on 12 volts
