Bows On A Pretzel Wreath

Looking for something to make for a craft fair or bazaar? Here's a fabulous idea I got from an "ah ha" moment! I bought a huge container of organic wheat pretzels from a warehouse club store that were down right nasty so they sat untouched in the pantry. Then I thought, why not make a wreath out of the pretzels? Pretzel wreaths are a old time favorite at craft fairs, bazaars and fundraisers. They are also easy to make, and will go with any decor since they can be decorated with seasonal or holiday embellishments, ribbon and of course, bows made using a Bowdabra.

The basic items you will need to make one includes pretzels, parchment paper, white glue or super glue, spray-on sealer, ribbon, embellishments and a Bowdabra. For a complete tutorial visit link below.

Briefly, glue plain circle pretzels together in groups of three using white glue and or super glue.

Next arrange the grouped pretzels in a large circle on parchment paper and glue the sides of the pretzels together. Then glue on a second row of pretzels by overlapping on top of the first row and let dry.

Once dry, spray on sealer several times, front and back, and in every nook and cranny, and allow to dry overnight.

Once dry, it's time to decorate! Loop ribbon through the openings in the wreath, starting at the bottom weaving the ribbon under and over until reaching the starting point. Dovetail the ends of the ribbon and seal.

To make the decorated bow using your Bowdabra, Fold a 15 inch length of Bowdabra wire and place into the Bowdabra, tucking the ends under. Add a group of leaf embellishments in the opening of the Bowdabra. Fold ribbon together with ends meeting, layering more ribbon in same manner. Scrunch the folded ribbon together in center and insert into the Bowdabra.

Have fun adding more embellishments into the Bowdabra!

Scrunch down all of the embellishments using the Bowdabra wand. Grab the loose ends of the wire, pushing them through the loop. Pull the wire tightly, tying it to the back in a knot. Attach the embellished Bowdabra bow to the pretzel wreath and fluff the bows. A hanger can be added to the top using Bowdabra wire.

And finally, glue on a tiny pumpkin to the center of the bow to complete that awesome fall look!
