TP Roll Black Candles Halloween Decor

I'm not a huge fan of toilet paper roll crafts unless you can't tell the item is made from a toilet paper roll. This one does that.
SUPPLIES

Empty toilet paper rolls

Hot glue gun (need high setting.)

Pliers or clothespin to hold candles while dripping hot glue onto them.

Black paint (or paint of choice)

LED Tealights (from any dollar store)
You can paint the tops of your LED tealights but I just put craft foam on mine.
Cut your TP roll down one side then glue your tea light to it as shown.
Glue it back together overlapping and trimming as needed.
Holding your roll with something to protect your fingers drip hot glue over the top, avoiding the bulb, and let it drip down the sides as shown. Let it cool.
Paint over your roll. I assembled mine on a paper plate and added some raffia and a fake pumpkin I also got at the dollar store. I have lots more photos and details on my site link at the bottom.

NOTE ABOUT TURNING OFF AND ON: These lights have an on/off switch on the bottom. I barely tacked mine down so I could pull them off easily in order to stick something like a flat screwdriver into them to flip the switch before use. Then I tacked them back down again. Good lights will last up to a week when kept on. Turning them on and off when needed they will last quite a while.

How do you attach the fishing line on the top to keep them together?
