I was probing through Pottery Barn’s Decorate the Season 2015 catalog when I saw this Walking Dead Serve Bowl Set. I was so anxious to get started on something along this line that I’ve skipped pass my fall decor crafts!
I tried watching an episode of The Walking Dead but couldn’t quite get into it, but I think this serving set is really, really cool!! It would be a totally awesome addition to a Halloween Party (one of the things on my Fall Bucket List) !! At the time of this post it is priced at $118. That’s a little much for my budget, however, I am inspired by this piece. Their skeletons are made from cast aluminum which is a huge challenge that I don’t want to attempt at this time! I’m thinking of hosting a small Halloween Social for the kiddos this year. Nothing big, just a little something for my 7yr old son and my nieces and nephews.
So, the idea that I came up with is to create a DIY Skeleton Halloween Serving Dish!
Dollar Tree items:
Plastic Skeleton
Glass Candy Dish
Eyeball Bubble Gum
Fruit Juice Gummy Worms
Tools: (items already on hand)

Hi-temp Glue Gun

Silver Spray Paint

Black Spray Paint
The outside of the bowl was painted so use any food item you like... No worries!
