Easy
We've all seen them. Those 1980s fixtures, with the cheap plastic pulls, 3 bell-shaped shades, with bare bulbs poking out the bottom. Giving off stark light, but having the much-needed fan above, for those hot Summer days. Totally functional, but not so pretty.
But there is an EASY and inexpensive trick!

I to have a single bulb fixture and wonder how to make it work. I've been searching for a answer to my ceiling fan dilemma and this is perfect if I could figure out how to make it work

Probably not. We bought school house light kits and changed out the triple ugliness on our fans. Goes very well with our 123yo Victorian farmhouse. The shade looks bulky, especially for a more narrow room. I can see that it would be great in the right place.
