Sewing Stool Update With Easy to Reupholster Top.

Transform an out dated but useful piece of furniture with a tiny bit of work that has great results. General Finishes Milk Paint goes on silky smooth and the geometric fabric really makes the stool stand out. I used a high loft batting to give the piece some weight. The lid to the sewing stool was used as the template.

Take the stool apart. Clean, sand and remove old fabric and padding.

Replace the padding with Polyfil Hi-Loft batting. Cover with fabric.

Use OlyFun on the inside to finish off the piece. OlyFun is easy to cut and no sew and makes a great liner.
Resemble the piece and enjoy!
