Outdated glass light shades (frosted or white) are a staple at thrift stores and home salvage shops. Here's a fun, EASY way to repurpose them for Halloween!
Click HERE for the full tutorial and all the details!
If you look in the home lighting section of just about any thrift store or home salvage shop, you'll find any number of these glass light globes / shades. They're inexpensive and often have a great "ghost" type shape.
So here's perhaps the EASIEST Halloween DIY / Repurpose project ever. First, clean up your glass light shades (chances are they will be pretty dirty and gross). And then, add silly little ghost faces!
They look pretty cute just like that, don't they? But trust me, it gets better! A little "ghostly illumination" takes them to the next level! I'm pretty sure I just heard a boo...
Click HERE to find out how I created that eeeeeeerie, ghostly glow!

Doesn't get much easier, quicker, or cheaper than that...
Super bonus- they're small and easy to pack away after Halloween. So you'll be able to use these year after year, and they'll never go out of style. Happy Halloween...and I have to say it, BOO!

I wonder how long the glow stick will keep glowing. I was thinking those little solar lights that stick in the ground might also work.

Definitely. I actually published this project back in 2014 and there weren't nearly as many LED string light options as there are now. But, then again, nothing else casts that eerie blue/white light as white glow sticks, also. Either way, lots of options!
