It's easy. Get a very small cotton ball or snip a small cotton square from a makeup pad - and a bandaid. Soak the cotton ball or cotton square in apple cider vinegar and apply over the skin tag, cover/secure in place with the bandaid. If the cotton drys - rewet with the ACV. Do this for about 5-7 days at which point the skin tag should look black. Once it does it will simply fall off. While this method take a bit longer, it's easy and safe and inexpensive. Note: if you have sensitive skin, you might want to protect the area around the skin tag with vasoline or a similar product because the ACV IS an acid and will effect the surrounding skin also. Hope this helps!

I am not promoting this for anyone else, but this works for me. As long as the tag is skin-coloured and not mole coloured (I would NEVER touch those), I take sterilized nail clippers, and apply rubbing alcohol to the tag and the clippers, and cut once. Then I apply more alcohol (I suppose you could use an antibiotic ointment) and apply a bandaid. It works for me every time. If it is a longer tag (one you can grab well) I apply the alcohol and just twist it (no cutting) and it falls off immediately, and then I apply a bandaid. I saw both, virtually painless methods on tv years ago. A dermatologist was on and said it could be done, as long as it was not a mole. It may have been on Regis and Kathie Lee, but I'm not sure. They heal super fast...no waiting.

Clean the area with soap and water. Gently scrape the tag as not to make it bleed put the vinegar on a cotton ball and put a bandage on it to hold it in place

I have one right at the corner of my left eye near my nose. I want to get rid of it so bad but no way will I use vinegar in the area. May try twisting and cutting with a numbing medication like neosporin.

@Theresa Bradshaw I wouldn't...it could be a stye or it could have an eyelash in it. I'm with @Becky Greenwald on this one...I would see an optometrist or an ophthalmologist to have it removed.

Here's how i got rid of my tag. Take a piece of white thread about 4" long and get someone to wrap it around the tag close to skin (doesn't hurt) ;now tie in a good knot make sure its tight to skin; now trim off ends. If u want to hide it; put a small bandage on it. Leave for 3 days and it will just drop off without blood flow . Just like warts and ductape. This was told to me by my doctor and it works painless.
