Say "adios" to plastic Halloween decorations and create these recycled tin can luminaries! Here's how to add a little spooky style to your front porch or entrance.
Take a large or medium-sized tin can and tape the skull template (available on flourishandknot.com) to it.
For more details on how to create this spooky Halloween craft, please check out the full tutorial on the blog.

Add a few tea lights to your luminary and enjoy the stylishly spooky addition to your entrance! Be sure to check out my blog for more DIY projects and ideas! Flourish & Knot runs the gamut of make-it-yourself: crafts, recipes, home improvement, decorating, sewing, gardening, floral arranging, and entertaining. If I can do it myself, it’s fair game!

Cute idea. I have read if you freeze water in the can before punching you won't damage the shape of the can.

Absolutely true! You'll want to use some gloves or mitts to hold onto frozen can, but much easier to punch in design!
