Paint colors

We are in the process of putting up new siding. It needs to be painted, what are some good color combinations? I tend to like craftsman style colors. We put shake siding on in the pitch of the roof line and I would like to do those in a different color than the siding.

ok now i see. couldnt figure that out.In NewYork the siding is already a color sorry, So You mentioned you put shake siding on the pitch so I am assuming that is a brown tone.The are so many earthy tones available but without seeing a picture of your home I dont want to give you bad advice. If possible post a picture.

I too would like to see the house, I like the green gray colors And black shutters and doors and the browns with black shutters, white trim, black doors! Don't know if that helps, try pinterest, they have lots of color ideas and types of houses!

I just recently painted the outside of my home. I went to Sherwin Williams and they have this cool feature. Just take a pic of the outside of your home and they upload it and tell you what colors look best. They help you choose the body, trim and door. I got a lot of compliments on mine and have recommended it to many of my neighbors. GO PACKERS

also check out HGTV Magazine - they have a monthly feature where they show different outside paint combos and I know they have featured Craftsman style.
