Upcycled Pot Holders
It is easy to turn your old towels into something useful! Making potholders is a great beginner sewing project!
I had replaced my old towels with new but couldn't imagine throwing all my old towels away. They still had some life to them...they had to be useful as more than just rags.
Using a potholder as a size guide, I used the old towels to create pretty new ones!
Some simple sewing techniques were all I needed to make neat corners, clean edges, and a quilted design.
My new potholders work like a charm! They are thin enough to hold easily but thick enough to keep my fingers from getting burned!
