Janet Pizaro on Oct 09, 2015Since you cannot use chemicals such as paint my only advice would be to go to a professional bathroom retailer in your area to see if that type of product is available.Helpful Reply

Z on Oct 09, 2015Liquitex makes a water based spray paint. Kylon used to, but I cannot find any info on their web site so I'm assuming it's discontinued. Which is a shame as it was an excellent product. I have not used Liquitex's product, but I did find a video for you to see how the product works. It looks amazing. It's almost three times as much as standard spray paint, but since I prefer using water based products,if it works as well as Krylon's water based enamel did, it would be well worth it. Dick Blick has it on sale now for 40% off. I may have to drop by and get some when I'm in the city tomorrow. If I do, I'll let you know what I think of it. http://www.dickblick.com/products/liquitex-professional-spray-paint/Helpful Reply

Dale on Oct 10, 2015You can buy plastic window-inserts for VERY large windows such as sliding glass doors. We bought white ones some years ago, but I imagine you could paint them. Use your online search engine to find them.Helpful Reply

There should be a link to her shower post in this one. I hope that helps! Cat http://www.hometalk.com/diy/-7342223Helpful Reply

Jaxon on Oct 10, 2015We did this in our shower. We used an epoxy to stick the metal straps to the door. You can find them at Home Depot in various widths for your application. I also painted it with Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze color. It came out gorgeous!Helpful Reply

Sharon on Oct 11, 2015For the brass, there are paints and primers made by Safecoat for the chemically sensitive. Greenbuildingsupply.com carries products that will work on metal. You could use frog tape and black glass paint on the outside the same size as your brass to give the illusion of window trim. Hope that helps!Helpful Reply

Jill Carpenter on Oct 13, 2015Angela, No no. You would just use tape to lay out your grid then fill it. A bit time heavy but not difficult. It goes on like paint.Helpful Reply
