I had a big laundry room (10x12 that had no real storage that was hidden so it was time to do something about it after years of looking at it .I went to habitat for humanity and found 2 cabinets that were 10 dollars a piece and metal shelving was was 6 dollars .Bins i already had .This laundry room also is my computer room and my sewing room .Every one see's this room coming in the door from my driveway
This is the wall and I have 2 front loaders that have drawers under it and a 2 drawer unit that came with them .I needed wall storage but did not want cabinets all the way across the wall
@ wall cabinets that I turned upside down and they were supposed to have cabinets butted against the open spot but i used it for display .The shelves came with the cabinets and so did the doors
1 cabinet up using a ledger board made it much easier to hang the cabinets .Just put them up on the board and hold them against the wall .Marked where all the studs in the wall were first .The coat shelf I built a couple of years ago .Also had to give the cabinets a little cleaning and a fresh coat of stain and sealer before I hung them
2 cabinets up sorry it is fuzzy I did not realize it
Put the shelves back in .Best thing about these cabinets i bought they were solid wood and yes heavy .I even had to take the doors and shelves out before I could carry them into the house .I am 64 years old so not as strong as I used to be and yes I am a woman
wire shelves go up next .I screwed boards to the side of the cabinets to hold the shelves up and across the back wall .I did not want to use a bracket or other holder for the shelves
next doors on and needed to add accessories
display where openings were ,another cabinet should have butted into this cabinet also .I have chihuahuas
more display
bins all in and 1 pic that I got for 50 cents at habitat
also a place to hang car keys
Then done and not sure what I will do next .If I can do this any one can .I have to thank the people that donated the cabinets to habitat and also habitat for humanity for making things available to all
