Lego man hands made from short lengths of a recycled cardboad tube (like from gift wrap), covered in duct tape.

Lego man body created from recycled cardboard, cut to the shape of a lego man front torso and (flappy) front legs that hang down, shoulders, and back down to the hips; cover in red and blue plastic tablecloths ($1 each from dollar store), secure with tape. I cut two slits on the backside and used an old canvas belt I had on hand to keep the back of the costume strapped on at the waist. To finish it all off, my son wore a long sleeved red shirt and blue jeans to coordinate with the lego man body.
