Pallet Wood + Graphic Dishtowel = Wall Art

I recently found a dishtowel with a great graphic. I knew I could make something fun with it. Usually, I make pillows, but the way this graphic was laid out, I decided that it needed to become wall art.
The towel measured 20"x28".
We used two boards from an old pallet. My husband has awesome tools and even more awesome woodworking skills, so it didn't take him long to cut the pieces in the size we needed.
The inside edges that were cut looked brand new.
I used my handy dandy wood aging trick (apple cider vinegar and steel wool) and dabbed it on the clean edges. Soon it looked just like the rest of the wood.
We used spray adhesive and smoothed the towel on a piece of hardboard. We then used glazing points on all of the edges to hold the hardboard on, then added clear tape over the edges of the towel.
It now has a place in the family room. We are thrilled with how it turned out. Since we had all of the materials, the only cost was the dishtowel at $8.
