I'm joining in on the game started by Shelley @ Sow & Dipity. The different is, I don't actually know the answer, so we'll need an expert to give the final word.
I got this plant from work. It's really beautiful, the bulbs are red, but when it flowers there are purple petals inside. Anyone?

This is a fushia. It appears in pink and white, purple and pink as well as other combinations
