Non-Traditional Pumpkins

Want to do something fun and different with your pumpkin decorating this year? How about painting them up in a very non-traditional way! I no longer have little ones at home so I wanted my pumpkin decor to be fun this year and to last longer than just to Halloween. Here's what I came up with.
If you want some guidance as you paint, you can use painter's tape and tape off sections or even use stencils to paint on your designs. I like to go free-hand as much as I can because I like the "homemade look" that gives the finished pumpkin!
Use your imagination and any color palette you like! Get creative...I stayed somewhat fall-like with some of my color choices.
I wanted polka dots on one so here is how that went...
Paint the pumpkin your solid color
Start adding colored polka dots
I put a bow for a finishing touch on this one!
Maybe you even want to leave one plain and just add a beautiful bow. Want to add a little "Halloween feel" to some of them? Add on some cute little rubber bats or spiders that you can easily remove after Halloween.
