Hi what is this product made of, I couldn't tell if it was wood or some type of vinyl. just curious if it would work behind a wood stove... I'm thinking not but had to ask.

I have loved the painted brick look ever since I stayed in a time-share in New Orleans that had this done. Yes, it was actually brick. So when my husband and I built a wall to enclose our kitchen (yes, I hate "open concept") I told him I wanted to put "brick" panels up and paint it. As we were newly wed he wanted to please me BUT he was VERY skeptical! He agreed to try my idea. We put the panels up and painted them a soft sea-foam green. He was so impressed that he has listened to my ideas ever since!
    • @Beth Wright Martin ...Funny how men are going " whattttt ??" , inside their head...and then see how well it all turns out....:) I have the same experience with a LOT of ' home projects'...lol. I too, dont like "TOTAL open concept'...I think its overrated and I prefer a few walls, archways, etc....to provide a bit of privacy.

It sounds risky, but it turned out excellent. Thanks for sharing!
