Master Bath Makeover

We gave our master bathroom a makeover... makeover
This is the finished space...I know it might not be your preference-that's ok. I'm simply sharing what we did!
This photo is from BEFORE we bought the house...the bathroom had a lot of wasted space...
We took our a useless built in bench and added a free standing armoire when we moved in, but still we felt the 80's tile and tub needed an update...
So we started planning...I took months and months to come up with exactly what we wanted...this is my inspiration board.
We had a contractor do the work because Mike was had some health issues last spring and we didn't want to live with the upheaval of a DIY bathroom remodel ...
I love the diamond grid window- something as small as a window change made a big difference...
We added lighting too like this pretty chandelier...(I have a post listing all the sources in case anyone wants to know)
We used ceramic tiles that look like marble on the floor to save money...I wasn't certain I'd like it but I do. The vanity top is marble and it's wearing well after 3 months...
I designed the cabinets and finish loosely based on cabinets I saw at Restoration Hardware. We had a cabinet maker do the work...
Another thing I love is having plugs inside the drawers...
Subway tile is another way we saved money...
This was a big commitment and took a long time but we are so happy with it...thanks for having a look my friends -- much more info on my blog...xo
