Paint colors

I love a color called Wishful Thinking by Dutch Boy. However, there isn't a Dutch Boy dealer within 75 miles from my home. Does anyone know of a Valspar, Olympia or Sherwin Williams color that is equivalent too Dutch Boy's Wishful Thinking. I attached a picture. It is the color on the far left (the larger paint can to the left above the orb) . Thank you.

Any paint store can match the paint and some even by the name.

If you know the brand of paint and the name they call it, often times you can go to your paint store and they can look it up, get the formula and recreate it for you.

Call Dutch Boy, ask them for the number/code, then go to Home Depot, they should be able to mix it for you.

Here is a link to other brands of paint conversions....... http://encycolorpedia.com/cedec6 Look at the paint chips for comparison or have a small tester mixed to make sure it is as close as possible to your color choice.

Call the Dutch Boy store and ask them to mail you a paint chip of your color. Then bring it to your local box store. They can match other manufacturer colors dead on. Good luck!

Actually, they don't need anything but a color sample to match on their computers. I think they can get it from anything, fabric, magazine picture, toy, etc.

Almost any place that sells a lot of paint can color match. We have a local business in my town who can color match anything, to perfections!

Sherwin Williams matches paint (also Home Depot and Lowes) Have had excellent results from both Sherwin Williams and Home Depot. Prof painters in my area seem to prefer Sherwin Williams!

Before you try to color match, ask if they can locate it in the system. Home Depot carries most of their competitor's colors in their paint database.
