What is it and how do I get rid of it. Or do I not need to be concerned.

sounds like leaf minor, do you have a picture you could share? Does it look like this:? http://gardener.wikia.com/wiki/Leaf_miner

That's definitely it. Sounds like there is no treatment for it outside of removing the damaged leaves. If I did that, there would not be much of a tomato plant left. Thanks for the info.

Unless you have a really bad infestation, Carolyn, they should not significantly affect your tomato crop.
