Old Book "Grapevine" Wreath

It is so easy and fun to transform some old books and faucet handles into a charming "grapevine" wreath!
A stock pot and some old books … Book soup? Maybe another time! Today we are making a wreath!

#‎homeforfall‬
Here's our wreath!
Cut some book pages and glue 2-3 on end so we get a longer piece. Make about 20 to 30 piece.

Crumble each piece and dip in glue diluted with equal amount of water.
Squeeze out the glue while rotating to make a paper “vine”.

Drape a piece of plastic over the pot, and let the paper vines dry in a curved form over the side of the pot.
After the paper vines are dried, we can weave them into a grapevine wreath!
Make some flowers with book pages and faucet handles!
Tie them onto the wreath, and tie some more twine for hanging!

Love this! Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to try this except I’m guna try to ‘dye’ the paper with weak tea- another creative blogger did a gorgeous craft with book pages as well but put them in a weak tea solution. Such talented people on Jeremy! Thank you again!😊❤️
