Old New Farmhouse

This New Jersey old house was completely gutted, reconfigured and re-conceived right down to the moldings and doors. We were able to repair and preserve the old wood plans of the floor and keep the fireplace intact.
Final result: laid back, and inviting style, a kind of low-key luxury. The space is livable, happy and cozy home for a young guy who was just starting out in life. Being on a tight budget, we utilized furnishings that age well and are flexible so they can be moved or changed.
The vintage quality of distressed brown leather sofa adds comfort.
We kept the old stone fireplace and accentuated its quality by placing an old reclaimed mirror right over it.
