Trash to Treasure- Old Jewelry Chest....reborn!
A little paint and some new hardware can bring just about anything back to life....check out the rebirth (and new use) of this nasty, old jewelry chest!
I found this sad chest by the trash...missing all of its drawers.
I cleaned it well and primed it.
Then using a metallic spray paint (so I could get in all the recessed areas) I spray painted the entire chest.
I drilled holes in the doors the size of the screw in the knobs I wanted to use.
and screwed in my knobs.
All done!
I filled it with the items from my bedside (books, chapstick, nail file, etc)
and now everything is in one place.
The chest came back to life.
