I found a mobile kitchen island on a garage sale that was in so much need of TLC!!!
Immediately imagined a mixed of country with an industrial touch for the piece.
So I bought it and started working on it the very next day.
First a deeeep cleaning!!!
Before and after
Then I cut off the center of the the doors, sanded them to then attached the chicken wire with my nail gun..
For the inside a faux wooden logs tissue paper decoupaged for the bottom of the drawers and shelves..
Now the painting!!

A mixed of dark and light grey with taupe and dark brown mixed with to get the velvety chalky finish and using my Alaska blending technique.. When it was dry about 20 minutes later.. I white washed and dark washed with in Midnight Blackness and White Ning on top of the paint..
Let paint and decoupage dry overnight..
Now... Using reclaimed wood, I added one piece on each drawer and one for one of the sides to attach the towel bar made of plumbing supplies..
On the other side.. A chalkboard to make it fun!!

New hardware for the doors too..
For the back area (drop side serving table ) and cedar shingles decor, aged to match the Island.
On the top side table.. An image transfer with a cool french theme..
A towel hook
And a bottle opener
Add some stools.. And ta daaaaa!!!

A gorgeous Mobile Kitchen Island!!!
