Nwdnanny on Oct 27, 2015Just take a piece of string about half the diameter of the skirt you want. Tie a pencil on one end and draw a circle on butcher paper. (remember from geometry class?) Cut hole in center and a slit from the edge to the middle.Helpful Reply

And2658010 on Oct 28, 2015Yes, take a tape measure and measure from centre of yet at bottom to the end lowest branch tip. Cut a piece of string and attach it to a nail nailed to a board that you can hold it stand on tie a pencil to other end of string hold string tight and draw a circle on your fabric. Cut two sides front and bottom the same and one piece of batting. If you are struggling to find fabric large enough buy a nice cheap duvet/ comforter cover or curtains the material is much wider. Put outside pieces face in against batting and stitch all the way around edge maje sure there is a cut from one edge to the centre through all three layers stitch up that and back down. Leave at least a 10cm gap not stitch so you can fold it inside out so it's the right way if that makes sense. You can then stitch it hand stitch embalishments like pearls, lace, snow fakes whatever you like. Of course if the fabric is velvet or luxurious walla your done!!Helpful Reply
