Can you use basic quickcrete to make a wood fired pizza oven

I have been wanting to build a DIY outdoor wood fired pizza oven. Have found a pretty simple design using concrete, Quickcrete to be precise. My question is. Is there any chemicals in the concrete that I should not use it as a medium to build the oven. Or is there other stuff out there of the same basic concept I can use that is safe?

I found many different answers and none of them said no, however I would rather you read them yourself just to be safe as there are chemicals in these products.

If you are looking to build your own pizza oven, contact Greg Shuck at Louisville Fire Brick Works. (502) 363-2656 We have the materials you will need and he has helped many others with their projects. I note that you are in Eastern Kentucky. We have a plant in Carter County so, hopefully, that is close to you. BTW Jeremy, Quikcrete is not rated for the temperatures achieved in a wood fired pizza oven.

The temps involved would make the concrete crack and spall terribly. It would be useless in a couple weeks. Use bricks.
