Can you be more specific on what you are trying to organize?

To see all my comment click on three blue dots. For me organizing the kitchen means grouping things according to their use. I organize my cupboards by groups, below is a list of groups more kitchens need. 1. Every day dinnerware. 2. Good china or dishes meant for family gatherings. 3. Serving dishes. 4. Flat and Silverware. If you have real silver it will most likely be stored in a special box just for it. That can be stored in a pantry or buffet. 5. Baking needs. These can often be in two places, separating microwave and oven bake ware. 6. I keep left over storage containers in larger containers in base cabinets for easy retrieval without having to bend over and dig for what I need. (Pictured below) Then there's food storage. Whether or not you have a pantry, as with dishes, it's best to separate things into groups. Here's how I do mine. 1. Breakfast. 2. Beverages. (Pictured below) 3. Snacks. 4. Baking. Though next to each other, I have dry goods such as flour, sugar, and desert mixes, separated from spices and from extracts. I use clear plastic containers, a double lazy Susan, and a basket respectively. 5. Side dish mixes such as Noodles and Rices are kept in their own baskets. 6. Canned goods. I have a rack that holds most of the average size cans. I use wicker baskets to sort things in groups in my pantry. (Pictured below)

I tend to go with the "put it where you use it" method. I have the glasses near the frig as we have ice and water in the door. I got out the toaster oven and put the toaster in the pantry (shelf in laundry room!). Plates near the stove to serve the food. Stuff in low shelves I don't often use because I hate digging in those cupboards. I hang lids pots and pans on the wall instead of taking space in cupboard. Cleaning supplies I use in kitchen under sink. Rest in bathroom. Do what works for you. Good luck!

As Trixie63 said, "Put it where you use it." If you rarely use it, it doesn't need to take up valuable storage where it's handy. If you use it daily, it needs to be where you can reach out & grab it. Pans near the stove; bowls where you're mixing; coffee cups (& spoons) where your coffee maker sits. When I designed my new kitchen (that I left!) I sat down & thought about what I did & how I cooked, AND with what tools/appliances, etc. I did those tasks. We each have our own methods. You need to organize your kitchen for your methods.
