This will show you how to make a sign using yarn and nails in wood.
To start you need wood, a pencil, nails, tracing paper, a hammer and yarn.
Print the letters the exact size you want and then trace them.
Then you want to lay them out on your wood to make sure they fit and to get the spacing right.
Next draw the letters directly onto the wood through your tracing paper.
Start hammering your nails a couple of inches apart around the edges of your letters.
Keep going until all your nails are in.
Then one letter at a time wind your yarn around the nails starting at the base of the nails and building out to create 3D Letters.
We used ours as our company sign at a tradeshow but you could write sweet words and make decorations for the home.
