Button and Felt Snowman Ornament

I inherited a lot of buttons. In my grandmother's day, clothes wore worn until they were worn out and then were turned to rags and the buttons were saved to be used again. I used vintage buttons and felt to create a snowman for my Christmas tree.
I first dug through my button collection to find three buttons in graduating sizes. The largest two formed the bottom and middle of the snowman. Not the that button holes are positioned vertically. The button that forms the head has the button holes positioned horizontally. Before I glued the buttons to a white scrap of felt, I used a Sharpie to draw black eyes on the felt.
The buttons were glued into place and a hat was cut from a scrap of gray felt. A ribbon scarf was tied around the snowman's neck.
I trimmed the white felt with scissors in the shape of a snowman and glued a piece of cord to the felt to serve as a hanger. I then glued another piece of felt to the back to cover the cord and Sharpie made eyes that bled through. (No Photo)
