A prong from a cheap plug broke off in my electrical socket. How can I either remove that prong or replace the socket? Thanks!

Turn off electricity at breaker box. So there is no power. If part of plug is in plug in then remove it. If needing to replace wall socket go get new one then hook it up using the old plug in as instructions. Take wires off old one at time and hook to the new. Place new in the wall and mount. Put cover back on. Done

Karen answered your question beautifully & accurately. I will add to check at least twice that the power is off at the breaker box before you begin. This is the most important step!
