Framed Pegboard (Craft Room Organization)

I'm pretty lucky in our new house to have a bedroom big enough where I can have part of it set up as my craft area. I'm working on getting it more organized so I can have the table cleared off so I can actually work on it! I knew a pegboard right on the wall by the table would be perfect, so I made one that would fit between the two windows on that wall.
I loved the look of a stained frame, so I bought all my materials at the hardware store and got to work.
The stain is dark walnut and I used pocket holes and pocket hole screws to attach each frame piece to each other.
I used a French cleat to hang the pegboard on the wall-it's a great way to hang heavy items!
Now I've got scissors and pens and tools all within arms reach and not taking up space on my table!
I have more details about the process and all the measurements over on the blog post, so I hope you'll come check it out!

Deloris make sure u frame it; as the metal pegs need space behind. Do not just apply to wall. Check hardware stores or recycling stores re: Habitat For Humanity ; if u have this store in Silex . The stores have all sizes & lengths, great for cones or thread sorting from light to dark.
