"The Rocket" short board, channeled bottom, fast high performance board. If I didn't live in the mountains, I'd learn to surf :) For my son in Pacifica Ca. Also setting up mold to build 18' square stern canoe. Going to put a 9hp outboard on it. Will post photos when I have it set up. (I have a need for speed) HaHa

Thanks guys. Bob no I haven't read that book. Will check it out. When I've read old books, I'm always amazed at the intelligence and ingenuity of folks back then, that didn't have all the modern machinery we have. They did amazing things without the benefit of computers :) Thanks
