Use Soda Bottles to Wrap Gifts!

This is one gift that the container will be remembered as much as the gift itself. Ü These work best for small sets of items like jewelry, makeup, office supplies etc. Perfect for any occasion!
SUPPLIES

1 16 oz soda bottle. (Straight sides work the best.)

Goo Gone sticky stuff remover (optional)

Various ribbons, lace, tags, bells, etc.

X-acto type knife

Hot glue if needed

Free printable tags etc on my site post at the bottom.
Remove the label on your bottle and clean it up. I've not found anything that works as well as Goo Gone to remove sticky labels.
Cut a slit into the side of your bottle, just large enough that you can slip in whatever it is you are giving.
Slip in your gift items.
Decorate the bottles up however you want with tags, ribbon etc. There are free tag printables on my site post below.

I couldn't find any instructions on how to remove items safely....any suggestions? I like this idea, but would feel bad if the recipient got hurt....

What an awesome idea. Did I miss how to re-open the bottle?

I have been doing this for several years, I put a label over cut out with Merry Christmas or what ever the occasion. They can peel off label to get things inside never had a problem. The fun part is watching someone that hasn't seen it trying to figure out how to remove things out the neck of the bottle. :)

I did this for Christmas gifts for my husbands helpers, a small stuffed toy in center placed small necklace/ candy items around - everyone loved them.
