A Wood-Burned Cross Stitch Christmas Ornament

by Randi Dukes
I love the cross stitch trend that's once again become so popular and I love finding new ways to incorporate that look while straying from the standard cross stitch. I've stitched on different mediums but decided to skip stitching altogether and get a cross stitched look with wood burning. This is such a simple project even for someone with no experience with wood burning. The final result is a simple, rustic ornament that will look great on a Christmas tree! {For the full tutorial, be sure to visit Dukes and Duchesses}

    Very original. I'd also like to try it on wood rounds, and lightly sand the paint before the wood burning... You got my creative juices going with this one...love it!
