Fab Furniture Flippin Contest -Take a Seat
Its another exciting month for a Fab Furniture Flippin Contest! This month our theme is ‘Take a Seat’ and is sponsored by Minted, an amazing company that provides unique fabric, stationary and artwork all done by independent artists. In the case of our furniture makeovers we focused on the awesome selection of fabrics. You really need to check them out at Minted.
For this months contest I worked on an adorable pink pony vanity for a little girl. The great part was that the fabric choice was still up in the air, so when the contest came up it all fell into place. We chose a pretty pink pony fabric and I have to say the quality of the fabric is top notch!
The drawer was lined as well as the seat cushion recovered. The vanity itself was painted a pink and white combo to compliment the ponies. How sweet! This little cutie had a lot more involved than meets the eye, but that is in a spin off post since it didn’t seem appropriate to include it in the contest post. Just can't bring myself to paint over beautiful wood.

I have the same exact vanity set and just did a two toned makeover...I didn't take pictures since I did it last year. Nice job!
