Does anyone know approximate age/wood of this catalog box?

It is 15" L x 6" W x 4.5" H with movable support divider. It is in great shape..I found this in at barn sale.

My best guess is Mahogany, maybe from the 50's - 60's.

Looks like oak with a mahogany stain on the outside. I think 30s or 40s. Right click on your best photo of it, & "search Google for image." You just may find it!

I think it's in the late 30 to early 40's.Looks like Mahogany with Cedar lining to keep bugs out and preserve paper cards. Used on secretary desk or boss, used for client names, etc. This would make a beautiful recipe box for handed down special ones. Awesome. I've seen these in posh offices as I'm in the old generation. lol
