I bet we all have at least on dog (or cat) lover on our gift list this year, so I'm excited to show you how easy it is to make these custom DIY Debonair Dog Coasters that are sure to be a hit!
We don't have any pets in our house, but my sons just love their grandpa and uncles' dogs! I wanted to created some cute DIY coasters for my oldest son's menswear themed bedroom, and I decided that it would be fun to use photos of each of the family dogs to create adorable coasters!

These coasters are pretty easy to make, but the key is get the dog photos sized just right. I also wanted to add solid colored backgrounds behind my dog photos, although you certainly don't have to. On my blog, you'll find simple step by step Photoshop instructions for resizing and preparing the photos for the coasters. Even if you have never used Photoshop before, this detailed photo tutorial should make it super easy to follow.

If you choose to add the bowties to the dogs, I've got a tutorial for that as well!

I love this idea but I'm thinking of some of the calendars we get with animals, birds, flowers etc on them that would also work. Thanks for the great idea..I can't wait to check out your website!
