  • Barnwood Shed

This is a picture of an 8 x 16ft shed I constructed out of old barnwood. Notice the rusted tin on the roof.

I constructed 2 sliding doors each weighing 200 lbs each. I had to beef up the sliding rail so I welded brackets to a 4" x 16' flat bar. The doors absolutely glide so smooth.

Salvaging Damaged Silverplate Trays

good. With a little spray paint they can be transformed into a beauty once more. Check out my recent silverplate tray project used in a beautiful springy vignette.

Rustic Glam Thanksgiving Table Setting

I love nature-inspired decorating, but I love touches of glam by adding silver or gold to mix it up a bit. Natural elements in tablescapes like cotton, pheasant feathers, walnuts, ...»
pinecones, and raffia add rusticity where gold goblets, chargers, and glittered napkin holders add the sparkle for a cozy, but sophisticated Thanksgiving feast!

Burlap "Bookpage Style" Wreath

I am totally caught up in the magic of Burlap lately, I wanted to make a wreath, but not just any old wreath. I loved the look of the book page wreaths everyone was making, so I decided I ...»
would use that style and incorporate the look of Burlap! It did take a little longer than making the book page wreath though, cutting that Burlap can be tricky and time consuming, but well worth it.
