Super Easy No Sew (18" Doll) Clothes

I had a pair of 6x pants with holes in the knees and the kids didn't need any more shorts.
But hey, I know some dolls that could use more clothes.
And maybe a hair band.
Hair Band with a Bow

I started by cutting off a pant leg right at the top.

Then I cut three equal strips. The first strip was the hair band and the next two were for the bow.

Take the three strips and stretch them out.

Shape the second strip into a bow. Now use the third strip to tie the bow to the hair band. Done.
Dress

This dress is super easy to make.

It is the lower part of the pant leg. The pant's hem becomes the dress hem.

I didn't make the arm holes directly on the side. I cut two slits on the front.

Now just slip it on your doll. Isn't it a cute knee length summer dress.
Sleeveless T-Shirt

It's even easier to make this sleeveless t-shirt for your doll.

Just leave her dress on. Now pull it up until the bottom hem is about hip level.

Add some pants and you have a new outfit.
Same Shirt Different Look

Now you'll find out why I cut the arm holes in the front.

Put the t-shirt on your doll with the arm hole slits in the back.

Use the two strands that you cut out to tie the t-shirt at the shoulders.
Long Skirt

I didn't include the skirt in the pattern layout but no fright.

The skirt was cut out the same way as the dress.

Instead of having the finished edge of the pant leg as the bottom of the dress, it is the waist band of the skirt.
In Conclusion

I have a few ideas for the other pant leg but that will have to wait until another day.

Oh. And my granddaughter loved her doll's new clothes.
