Crocheted Stitch Sampler Blanket

Medium
I've been busy working on this huge blanket for my daughter.
Her favorite color is pink but to my surprise she asked for a multi-colored blanket. Something different than the blankets I've made previously.
I knew right away that she would love, love, love a crocheted stitch sampler blanket.
My foundation row is 194 chains. Then I thought hmmm. Maybe I should make mine a little bigger so I added two multiples of 24.

In retrospect I should have kept to the 194. Oh well. Live and learn.
I used my favorite hook which is 5.00 mm. And I didn't go out to purchase yarn. I just used whatever I had in my stash. Which some full balls of yarn and bits and pieces from other projects.
I really like the crocheted puff stitch. You can see it in the picture above. It is the yellow row in the middle.
I still have several rows to complete the blanket but so far my daughter is loving her new blanket.
