Blotched Concrete repair

need to repair a repair, about a 8x8 area concrete that is clearly too high in one area and all edges, well they aren't smoothed out, it's awful. Really don't want to call in professional, it's location is far outside of town. This was suppose to be repaired on top of existing concrete floor. The deepest part of this area was 2" right at the door and ascending up to a level with the rest of the room
