Happy Camper Christmas

My birthday was back in August. My friend, Elizabeth, told me that her husband said that she should just give me a bag of rocks for my birthday because I could figure out what to do with them. Well, a couple of weeks ago, she gave me a bag of rocks! And, I was up for the challenge.
I picked out one of the larger rocks for my first rock challenge.
I added DecoArt Snow-Tex to the top of the rock, but didn't cover the entire thing so the rock would still show. Snow-Tex will dry hard overnight.
While the Snow-Tex was still wet, I added a miniature metal vintage style camper into the snow.
I also added a tree to the snow while it was wet.
I made a banner for my winter scene by folding red paper tape over bakers twine.
I cut each piece of tape to form a triangle.
Since my scene is small, I only needed three pennants on the banner.
I cut a paper straw in half and used a punch to add a hole at one end of each straw.
Then I threaded the bakers twine through the holes and tied a know to secure it.
I glued the straws onto the back of the rock with hot glue.
The Happy Camper!
