Teen Room Make Over

My daughter came to me Restoration Hardware catalogue in hand to inform me that she wanted a $3000 bed. This was not happening. So I took to the Internet buy and sell sites to find her something I could turn into the bed of her dreams. The room is still a work in progress, but the bed is finished!

She has some more cleaning to do and I have some more furniture to collect and paint. Her current furniture is pink and looks lovely, but I think she has decided she wants it all the same colour

The bed took me a week to finish in total. I gave it a light sanding, then painted it with my own paint in a colour that is off white with a hint of grey

I hate working on beds because they are awkward. One large piece at a time and it felt like I had bed parts all over my house
