I love the look of fun festive pillows for the holidays, especially one that are cute and simple. I made this one a few years back and I still love it! It's so simple to make and you could really have fun with the fabric for the trees to match your decor and home.
The first thing I did was cut out some rectangles of fabric and fabric interfacing. I ironed the two together.
Then using my Silhouette, I cut out the fabric into triangles. You could easily do it with scissors. For all the details on how to cut fabric with a Silhouette, check out my post. I have everything you need to know to do it. I then ironed the trees onto a 18x18 piece of white fabric.
I then cut out the words Be Merry and ironed those onto the fabric. Finally I put one the back of the pillow (two pieces, to make an envelope pillow case).
And that's it!! It's so easy to make and so simple but I love how it looks on my dark couch and it's perfect of the holidays! Make sure to check out the full tutorial on my blog.
