Birch tree bark ideas

Hubby wood carves and over the summer removed a tree at his mothers house. The neat looking bark on the tree came off in a large sheet. Has anyone got any ideas to make some things from it? I was thinking of using different size pieces and wrapping dollar tree candles with it. Any more ideas from anyone would be helpful.

I think a picture frame or around a mirror. Don't know how to make it pliable.
